Jacob Kelly
FOUNDER//teacher
Hi, my name is Jacob (he/him)! I’ve been teaching music lessons since I was in high school but music has been part of my life for much longer. I took my first music lessons when I lived in Accra, Ghana from a man named Rev. At the time, my career ambition was to learn to play Crazy Frog on guitar. Fast forward to now and I have a B.A. in Music Composition from Seattle Pacific University, I’ve played on over a dozen albums including my own full length album, and I’ve toured the western U.S. many times. More importantly, I’m a continual learner and a believer that music and art are crucial components of our own lives and central parts of a thriving community.
Jan Davis
Piano teacher
Jan (she/they) has been active in the Seattle music scene since 2017. Her early music experience began with piano lessons at a young age, which have continued through to her adult life. She sang for many years with Rainier Youth Choirs, and was a featured performer with Green River Jazz Voices. Jan is currently a keyboardist, singer, and songwriter in the local projects Pure Mothman and Floral Tattoo. She has also had the honor of leading the keyboard program at Rain City Rock Camp, helping kids to find their voice and rock out on the keyboard. Jan believes strongly in the importance of artistic expression, and wants to help students of all ages develop their musicality to aid in that expression.

Brooke (she/her) has been an active musician for 20 years, exercising her musicianship through performance, composition, recording and teaching. She is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in trumpet, voice, guitar and piano, actively performing and recording in these disciplines in the Greater Seattle area.
Brooke holds a Master of Music in Film Composition from the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program. Brooke is also a trauma-informed voice coach, working with clients to use the power of their voices to heal their minds and bodies. More information on voice coaching can be found here: https://voice.waspandfigsounds.com
